Welcome to Yorba Linda High School –

Opening Day – September 8, 2009 – was a very special day for our students, staff and community.  950 freshmen and sophomore students gathered in our new gym for announcements and opening day activities before taking a tour of their new school with first period teachers.  Parents were also given the opportunity to see the campus and experience the excitement of our very first day at YLHS.

Staff has worked very hard and spent many hours to prepare classrooms, plan instructional activities and make sure we offer courses to meet each student’s needs.  Our Activities Director, Jason Kaylor and his ASB class/Link Crew are meeting with students to “connect every student to their high school.”

This is a special adventure for all of us as we establish a school culture that promotes academics, activities and appreciation of each individual who is a member of our Mustang family.
