A Big Thank You to - Shea Runge, Colleen Hayashi, Brent Hendry and all the ASB students for a TERRIFIC WEEK OF ACTIVITIES AND COMPETITIONS. Starting with 1) canned food drive 2) Roving Rally Week for the big games including the 5:00 p.m. gym rally 3) Halloween Dress Up Day 4) Football ticket sales each day to over 700 students and parents!! Did you know that ASB students started working on the quad signs in August? VERY COOL!

House of Representatives - Riley Rose lead our 1st House of Representatives meeting for this year on Thursday.
Student of the Month Recognitions for October – We had over 44 staff members recognize a “Student of the Month” through our PTSA. That is a terrific start to the 2015-16 program. There was a special drawing of staff members submitting students’ names - and the winners of a $5 Starbucks card are: Angelina Atmadja, Kelly Fritz, Tiffany Ward, Kevin Shanahan, Stacy Shube & Kathy Rodieck. Stop by a see Claudia on Monday for your $5 gift card.
Congratulations - Yorba Linda Women’s Tennis Team went undefeated in the North Hills League play to win their fifth league title in a row. At the North Hills league finals, Yorba Linda’s double team of Allie Newman and Erika Paul took 3rd place while Lauren Bui and Claire Zuro won the doubles championship. Emily Valenciano won her second individual league title in her career by winning the singles championship. Way to go Mustangs!! Good luck in CIF!
FYI – you will see construction trailers and equipment in the back of our forum/senior parking lot. They are starting the development of the park on the east side of campus.
Congratulations to the Mustang Band & Guard - on their Sweepstakes win at Glen A. Wilson High School. They outscored all other groups in the 1A, 2A, and 3A. division! The group also won high Music and High Guard! Way to go, Bincins Garcia and the band and color guard!!
PYLUSD District Band Pageant - is Wednesday evening, November 4th at Bradford Stadium at 7:00. Staff can get tickets from Bincins Garcia. General public $5.00 presale from Mr. Garcia or $6.00 at the door.
