On Saturday, April 9, Yorba Linda High School art students competed in the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center TrashARTist Challenge. Junior Brandon Bollinger took first place in the high school category, and also received the People’s Choice Award. Senior Kassandra Perske received an honorable mention in the high school category.
The Muzeo Trash ARTist Challenge is a county-wide art contest that promotes zero-waste recycling by encouraging students to turn trash to art.
Both pieces will be on display at YLHS in May during the school’s Art Show.
