Did You Hear? - Yorba Linda’s very own Dan Eliot, along with students from his AP Computer Science and Mobile App classes presented “The YLHS Hour of Code” week. This is a national program to teach coding in our schools. Over 80 students and several staff members participated in the “National Hour of Code Week” just before our holiday break. For an hour each day after school, students and staff learned computer programming as they worked on “Recursive Tree” drawings. A Big Thank You to Mr. Eliot and his very talented students!

Congratulations to - Mr. Garcia and four members of the Mustang band for participating in the 2017 Tournament of Roses Parade Honor Band. Mustangs Adam Carrillo, Michael Frelly, Cory Hoo and Natalie Suvarnesuddhi are highlighted in the OC Register’s “Artists of the Week” December 30th edition. Check out the terrific article and great pictures of our students. Again – Congratulations Adam, Michael, Cory and Natalie. Great job!!
