Secure Transcripts

The easiest way for a student to request their YLHS transcript is to click on the links below. This can be done from home and is available 24 hours a day. This request can be done for colleges, scholarships, common apps, and NCAA. Once your request has been made you will receive an e-mail stating that they have received your request. YLHS is then notified for release permission of the transcript; once YLHS gives permission, the transcript is sent.
Many, but not all colleges in California, have been set up to receive online transcripts. If you are sending a transcript to one of those schools you will also receive an e-mail from the college. If the college isn't set up to receive online transcripts then it will be sent via regular mail. This entire process should take 3-5 days.
Remember the YLHS grading timeline; if it is near the semester that you are requesting a transcript for and you want the semester grades to appear you will need to give YLHS the time they need to process grades and post them to history.
It is important that the student log on and register with their own account to request the transcript.
Transcripts can also be requested at the school. The student will need to bring in a business size envelop STAMPED addressed to the college with the student's name on the inside flap to the counseling office. DO NOT PUT A RETURN ADDRESS ON IT. Remember that this process will take longer than the online process.
