Drawing & Painting (Period 3)

 This course allows students to develop technical drawing skills with an in-depth study of drawing and painting techniques in a variety of mediums and genres.  Mediums include pen and ink, graphite, colored pencil, oil pastel, charcoal, acrylic and watercolor paint.  Samples of genres explored include still life, portraiture and anatomy, animals and landscape.
