Art Fundamentals (Period 6)

 This course teaches basic art concepts and skills using a variety of mediums with an emphasis on drawing and painting.  The elements of art and principles of design are studied and applied through hands-on assignments and projects.  Samples of concepts/genres covered include: line type and variety, pattern creation, value, color theory, linear perspective, portraiture, landscape and still life.
