MIT Names YLHS Teacher Dan Eliot "App Inventor Master Trainer"

Yorba Linda High School computer science teacher, Dan Eliot, embodies PYLUSD core values of excellence, collaboration, integrity, and innovation. He has successfully completed intensive training on all aspects of using and teaching App Inventor with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, otherwise known as MIT. Mr. Eliot also serves as the E-Sports coach for the Mustangs, and is looking forward to starting a computer gaming pathway of courses for the 2019-2020 school year. YLHS AP Scores Rank Highest in PYLUSD!

Scores earned by PYLUSD maintain a years-long district tradition of giving more tests to more students, with a higher percentage of students earning passing scores at most school sites. Yorba Linda High School boast the highest AP scores in the district for the past seven years (2012-2018). In 2018, 993 tests were administered in 24 subjects, with the Mustang pass rate at 88.22 percent. Go Mustangs! Click for article from OC Register.

Dear Parents: Greetings from Yorba Linda High School! Please accept this as a personal invitation to our Yorba Linda High School Back-to-School Night, September 12, 2018. This will be an opportunity for you, as parents, to follow a daily schedule of your son/daughter and to meet personally with each of his/her instructors.From 5:30-6:00 p.m. spirit items will be available for sale in the quad on campus. The program will start promptly at 6:00 p.m. in the gymnasium. Hope you see you there!

If you have shoes to donate, you can drop them off at our football home games on September 7th, September 14th, and September 28th from 6:15 to 7:15pm by the entrance gates. Final collections will be September 29th from 9:30am to 11:30am at YLHS Senior parking area! Thank you for your support!
