Business Management

Business educators: Ms. Waltemeyer & Mrs. Romero
 
The Business Management Pathway consists of the following courses:
 
1. Introduction to Business Principles (1st course): introductory course to be taken the first year of the pathway and includes basic foundational business curriculum including topics such as: running a small business, marketing, sales, personal finance, entrepreneurship, and more. 
 
2. Business Communications and Technologies (2nd course): concentrator course that combines public speaking, business writing, professional development, research based projects, and the integration of technology and industry recognized certifications. 
 
3. Business Management and Leadership (3rd course): capstone course that provides hands on experiences in running a student organized business known as the Mustang Market. Students will take part in the operations of finance, accounting, money handling, customer service, marketing, sales, inventory, human resources, and management procedures. 
 
The work based learning is met during the Business Management and Leadership course and running the Mustang Market.
