Seussical the Musical – Cathy Petz and the Drama Department present the spring musical starting this Wednesday, and running the following dates - May 4th – 7th and 11th – 14th. We all have the wonderful posters with the times. Come out and see this great musical and our talented students in action!!
Nathan Shapell Memorial Stadium Dedication – June 2 @ 10:00 a.m. – We are planning the ribbon cutting ceremony to open the stadium on Thursday, June 2nd. Everyone - students, staff and our community will participate in the exciting activity. YLHS and Esperanza students, bands, cheerleaders and ASB’s will be part of the dedication
of our new district stadium. Please put this on your calendar in BIG LETTERS to wear your school colors and take part in this once in a lifetime presentation. Agenda for the activity is being worked on and will be sent out in the next week.
National Merit Scholars - YLHS has eight students who took the 2010 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT) and met requirements to enter the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program. Each of these students is among the 50,000 highest scoring participants of some 1.5 million program entrants. Congratulations to:
