Principal's Weekly Update #200

A Big Thank You - for a terrific 2015-16 Back to School Night last Wednesday! We had 985 parents on campus for your presentations. As I walked around, I saw many classes with every seat filled and some with standing room only.

Comments from the parents, along with many, many thanks included:
Organized/Impressive
Wonderful-caring staff
Great information
Very enthusiastic teachers
Positive/Energetic

From several of our parents, “Thank you for keeping our kids challenged and engaged.” And “I don’t remember my high school being this FUN!” Lots of positive comments on students help out on campus and our beautiful campus.

A Big Thank You to all of our staff, especially Jamie, Shea and Claudia for all their planning. Thank you to Fred and his crew for making our campus look great and ASB/Link Crew and all our student helpers to guide parents to classrooms. Thank you to PTSA for providing refreshments. AND last but not least, thank you to Kino, Billy and Chris for watching over the campus on this beautiful, warm evening.

If You Did Not Hear - Greg and the counselors opened four new classes to relieve the pressure of several big classes in Language Arts, Govt/Econ and Careers/Health. There were lots of schedule changes and balancing of classes. THANK YOU Greg, Lorri, Nancy, Peyton and the counseling staff, along with everyone’s understanding and patience for these moves and adjustments. We are very fortunate to have about 40 more students than expected.
