Did you Hear? - Our very own Senior, Eric Wambold, was highlighted in the OC Register’s – OC Varsity Arts and Insider (Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce) for his selection to play for the Tournament of Roses Parade Herald Trumpets. He was one of five trumpet players chosen from more than 100 who auditioned. There is a terrific article on Eric in the OC Register – January 20th edition. Don’t Forget - All students will pick up new locator cards Monday morning starting at 8:00 a.m. in the center quad. The majority of schedules will remain the same but several classes do change semester teachers and rooms. Any question, stop by or give Greg Kemp a call.
Guests on Campus - Because of the great academics and co-curricular programs and “outstanding” reputation the staff, student and community have earned since we opened in 2009, students from other countries want to see YLHS. So again this semester, we will be hosting visiting students from Germany, Japan, France and China. On February 2nd, we will have students from China paired up with several ASB students and students in Chinese Language classes to experience YLHS classes and activities. YLHS students will let you know if they will bring a guest to your class. Please welcome our guests and take advantage of including them in the classroom experience. P.S. – Our guests may be a future Mustang!
