Final Exam in Google Classroom

Final Exam

Final Exam Instructions:
*** The test covers chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6
*** It will be worth either 100 OR 150 points (I haven't decided yet)
*** It is not multiple choice -- it will be taken through webassign (as with all of the other tests this year) -- ALL problems must be solved using algebraic and trigonometric techniques as shown in class.
*** Graphing calculators are allowed -- BUT they cannot be used as a way of solving a problem. You can use it to check an answer. You can use it to help you make computations go faster.
But in your work, I cannot see : "use calculator to get my answer".
*** If your homework grade for the semester is 90% (or above), then I will drop your lowest "chapter test" score. You may not have the score on the final exam dropped (even if it is your lowest score). The final exam score does not replace the lowest test score.
*** The questions for the final exam come from the problems assigned for the chapter reviews (there should be no problem you don't recognize or haven't seen before).
*** No outside sources are allowed to help you on this test. You will receive a zero for the entire test if you do.
*** You can use your notes to help you during the test.

Chapter 1 Test in Google Classroom

Chapter 1 Test

The chapter 1 test is scheduled for Monday (9/28/20) from 8:15 to 9:30.
We will take the first few minutes of class to answer questions, then start the test.
I completed the test in 9 minutes, so I will give you 5 times that amount, 45 minutes. (Normally, the multiplier is times 3 -- but because of technology issues, you get extra time).
You need to SHOW ALL WORK (completely) for credit. Even if you have the correct answer, with no proper work, you will not get the points on it.
You must submit your work to google classroom by 9:30 am on Monday (9/28/20).
Your name must be at the top of each page (you may want to prepare that in advance).
It will be taken through webassign.net (but you only have ONE submission per question). (on the homework, you can retry a problem 20 times -- but on this test, just no fixing your answers).
There are two questions that have you graph the answer -- you do not need to graph them (I have zeroed out the points on the graph part of the problem -- part B) -- SKIP GRAPHING
