FRENCH 1 / ONLINE 2020-2021 Assignments

We will be working on this chapter for the next 2 to 3 weeks.
Make sure you download, print if you want or copy answers on a separate sheet of paper, make sure you label pages and assignments for ease of reference and grading. I will go over pages as needed.
We will have a quiz on each part, so make sure you study

After we are done with presenting, turn in your notes here for 10 pts. Use your notes for quiz on Friday 1/8

1) La Famille: Click on the TV5 Link and do activities; write correct answers. Make sure you label each activity.
You might need to use online dictionary to translate some new words.

2) Describing Hair & Eyes: Click on Link 2 Languages Online and do activities: WRITE words down; You will do Activity 19 & 20.

3) Bien dit 1: Chapter 4 : go to hrw.com click on link and type BD1CH4. Do Vocabulaire 1: No need to write down anything.

Turn in end of class or demain : tomorrow at the latest for credit; if you don't turn in by Wednesday, No credit will be given.

We will be working on this chapter for the next 2 weeks. Expect a quiz for Part 1 next week, so we will need to work in class and at home.
You can start with page 1 & 3 if you want. I will add pages we need to do as we move on.

In Chapter 3 You will be learning the Verb to be: Etre. In these activities, you will learn how to conjugate and pronounce the verb in the present tense. Also, you will review and learn how to conjugate the verb s'appeler. (to be called)
1) click on the link 1 : Listen and REPEAT; on a new sheet of paper, copy all the conjugations for both verbs. Just like they are shown to you.
They also teach you Nationalities with the verb Etre. Can you recognize the nationalities? Notice some are feminine (we will be learning that also).

We will work on this packet daily after we study grammar and vocabulary. Either print or write on seperate sheet of paper and label each page and each activity. I will go over each page we do, so you can correct your mistakes. You will use this packet to study for tests and quizzes and do project assignments. I usually give you pages that are needed to study and do projects.

We will do online listening activities during class to apply what we learned and learn new vocabulary while listening. If you don't finish in class or you are absent that day, you will need to complete this assignment ASAP. (Please have your camera on, so I can see you are working).
IMPORTANT: For all these links, make sure you write down at least 10 NEW VOCABULARY WORDS in French and English. You need to write answers on a sheet of paper, scan and turn in here.

Link 2: Languages Online: Do Activities. Review and repeat Vocab. No need to write something. Just practice listening and speaking.
Link 3: TV5: Follow the video and directions. Also, see the Transcription (transcript) to help with reading while listening and speaking. You have a lot of New Vocab words here, so write them down.

Vendredi: Check link Podcast facile. We will listen to numbers again and do the short quiz. We will be using this site a lot for independent online work.

Copy the Vocabulary on page 35 in both columns in your notebook . They are due next Monday! Make sure you label and put page number and copy with correct spelling. We will work on how to pronounce.
After you are done copying, make sure you do the practice for the flashcards. Repeat as many times.
