1) Go to TV5 link. Do activities and write down. label each activity. Turn in today!
2) Go to Bien dit link (think Central): go.hrw.com and type BD2 CH2; do the activities for Vocabulaire 1 /No need to write down.
3) Go to TV5 Link: habitudes Alimentaires: Read Text: Find 10 new words in French and Translate into English. Summarize what you understood in English.

If done early, start working on Ch. 2 Packet page 1 C/W

As you can see, now we are in the Level 2 Book! I skipped to Ch 2, because we already did Ch1 at the beginning of the year doing the reviews. You are welcome to scroll through Chapter 1 of this blue book, (it's online also) and review again.

1) Copy all the vocab words in Part 1 & 2. Make sure you copy French & English. It's Holdiay Vocabulary!

Oral: You will present your google slides in class/ powerpoint on Flipgrid.
Everything must be in French! You will speak in French! Make sure you practice the Numbers and other pronunciation.

2) Ensuite: Then, you will write : tu vas ecrire: 5 phrases Non Honors / 10 phrases Honors using cities/countries and prepositions, and means of transportation and verbs like aller, venir, partir, etc..:

2) Elle va à Nice en train
3) Nous venons de Los Angeles en voiture.

Also, try to prounounce with the video, repeating words.

Please take time to do correctly.

1) Open the pdf file in DocHub or Print.
2) Make sure you Translate all words in Vocabulaire section into English.
3) Fill in blanks, listen and repeat and answer questions. Turn in as soon as you are done.
4) After that, start researching your city. Ask questions...

Either Print or Open in DocHub, whichever is easier. You will need to fill out the CITIES like the map example.
You will fill out the BORDERING COUNTRIES, label the RIVERS and color the lines blue; label the MOUNTAINS and color green.
Then, we will talk about city locations. I will explain in a lesson in class .

Open document and type your name next to the city you choose. Make sure you finish map and turn in assignment as done in class (see attached)

Also, type 2 important things about your city that you will be including in your presentation.

Copy ALL WORDS From Vocab 1 & Vocab 2. In French & English. You can start at the end of class today.

This is to do in CLASS! If you don't finish, you can turn in the next day at the latest.
On a sheet of paper, follow instructions and write down your answers. If in class, show teacher, if online turn in GC.
Link 1: La Negation; Write down sentence and follow up with answer of negation; translate sentences: Ex: Il dit quelque chose: He says something; Il ne dit rien: he says nothing.

Link 2: Means of Transportation: Click on each activity and play game; write down all Vocab words/French &English from the Glossary for each game; no need to rewrite words more than once. MAKE SURE YOU GO THROUGH ALL GLOSSARIES and WRITE NEW WORDS IN FRENCH & ENGLISH.

Print or write on a separate sheet of paper (make sure you label pages and activities) or use DocHub. Be ready to work in class, as assigned. If not done in class, then it is for homework.

P. 106 is a review of the Present Tense: Read grammar in the boxes before you do the activities.
P. 108 # 30 is a review of the Partitive.
P.S. After this chapter, we will be working on the PAST TENSE: PASSE COMPOSE!!

Usually, we use normal posters or at least 11X18 in. papers or poster paper. But, since we are online, you can 1) draw your house on a NORMAL sheet of paper.
2) Label each room / floor / stairs / garden / garage, etc.
3) Then, Label at least 3 things per room. Color if you want. If you draw a nice house, You will get extra points for effort.
4) Finally, write down 3 chores you do : Je dois sortir la poubelle, etc...
(Honors for the chores, you must put how many times per week, or how often, etc.) see book pages for help)


You need to write everything by hand, make sure you spell correctly. USE YOUR PACKET PAGES FOR HELP. ALSO, THE VIDEOS I SHARED WITH YOU. YOU CAN COPY & PASTE PICTURES, BUT THE LABELING HAS TO BE DONE BY HAND. WATCH YOUR SPELLING!
This should not take too long, because you already have all the information.

Important for Honors: You will also present in French on FLIPGRID. More instructions will be there.

Copy down ALL vocabulary words from page 323. Make sure you label Part 1 & Part 2 separately. Try to highlight New words learned from copying.

1) Write notes/answers on your sheet of paper.
2) Find 10 new Vocab words from these 4 links. Translate into English!
3) Turn in end of class. If not done in class, you need to turn in the next day at the latest.

This chapter is House Vocabulary & Chores. We will discuss in class.
1) You will need to write Vocab 1 & Vocab 2 in your notebook. page 285 in RED BOOK. Make sure you label the Parts.
2) We will listen and you will practice the flashcards on your own.

You will create a portrait of you on a sheet of paper with 4 categories:
1) Name, age, pyhsical description ; 2 adjectives that describe you
2) write down 3 things you like to do;
3) Write down 2 things you don't like to do and one thing you prefer to do.
4) write 1 thing you like to eat and one thing you do not like to eat.
All parts will have a picture to show your description: Example part 1, your picture, part 2 one activity, and so on.
You will be graded on content and grammar.

Mardi et jeudi: 1) we will practice with Verb Avoir/Etre in context (from what we learned last week)
2) We will review the verbs Aller / Faire / Venir;
With the Bellwork, we will put these 3 verbs in Context. Make sure you look at the Vocab Conjugation Chart to know how to spell/conjugate the verbs correctly. Honors, you will be doing more writing practice and speaking. We will also work on more conversations and play some games or do online activities.
3) We will review Colors & Numbers: Coloring Activity!
4) We will review Questions: qui/quand/ etc.. and Quel/Quelle...
5) We will review Ce, Cette, Ces: this/these
