For this project, you will learn about Christmas traditions in a Spanish-Speaking Country
by doing independent research. You will compare these traditions to the traditions in
your community or country. You will present your findings to the class by creating a
slideshow. First, use this worksheet to guide your research. Then follow the prompt to
create your slideshow. Be sure to explore a variety of sources and list the ones you use.

For this extra assignment, answer the web quest question by doing research on Day of the dead. You will then create a digital ofrenda honoring a loved one (pet or person) that has passed. Then you will write a reflection explaining why you chose that person and what you have learned about the holiday making connections to how it is similar and different to Halloween.
