Description
CP US Government/Economics is a year-long course designed to increase student understanding of the American Political/Economic System, its framework, traditions, and values. This course is concerned with the nature of these systems, their development since their inception, and how they continue to function today. We will examine in detail the principle processes and institutions through which the political/economic systems function, as well as how they shape public policy. Though first semester is primarily a study of government and second semester primarily a study of economics, we will, when appropriate, make connections between the two to better understand how they often work together.
