Past tense in the weekend warm ups / Flashcards 

 

Reflexives  Lavarse  to wash the self.  Me lavo la cara cada noche.  Reflexive because the same person washes him or her self.  Le lavo al bebe cada dia.  Le is the baby and a different person is doing the washing to it not the self.

Bring in a receta espanola or un pais que habla espanol.  You must make something authentic, not everyday foods.

Off the internet print 8 pictures from a Spanish Speaking paradise location.

The pictures must represent all the fun you can have or have had as well as something cultural - choose a main item from that country... Bolivia   Simon Bolivar Statue would be an example.  Label them in Spanish and be able to present your poster on Friday   These should be able to fit about the size of a half sheet of paper.  

Chapter 2 Pre-reading worksheet answer questions 1-4 and then translate the conversation. On the other vocab 2 sheet, highlight the words you do not know out of the list for the chapter.

In class we will have a quiz on chapter one. Today or Tuesday!

Write a 60 word summary describing chapter 1 of the PEP story.  Have to count and have the minimum.  

Make 10 great questions from chapter one in the Problemas en Paraiso...

Make flashcards of the story with a hint in Espanol  14

 

Bring in 12 index cards that are 3x5 size

Write the story without any help.  Then use a different color and add in what details you missed. Make sure to show me both colors

Put the order of the sentences together and know the vocabulary as well as the main characters and what happened in the story.

We will be starting stem changing verbs and the camping vocabulary this coming week.
