Print and complete. You should only check ONE box in the row per molecule.
NOTE: We have not yet covered Network Solids. #16, 17, 18, 19, and 45 are Network Solids.
If you identify a substance as having covalent bonds, it is a type of molecular crystal so you would then choose either London force, Dipole-dipole, or Hydrogen bonds as the strongest IMF present.

INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITY RESULTS AND ANALYSIS
-Acetaminophen and acetylsalicylic acid dissolve in ethyl acetate with vigorous mixing. The binder (silica gel) does not.
-Water is not miscible with ethyl acetate. Water layer is more dense than ethyl acetate so it is at the bottom of the test tubes containing acetaminophen and acetylsalicylic acid solutions.
-Acetaminophen does not dissolve in sodium bicarbonate. Acetylsalicylic acid goes into solution with vigorous mixing.
-There is a lot of bubbling and a precipitate may fall out of solution when acid is added to the sodium bicarbonate solution containing acetylsalicylic acid.
