Español 3 Honores (Period 4)

¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español 3 honores!

Spanish 3 Honors focuses on solidifying an already proficient foundation of advanced vocabulary while integrating various compound tenses and commands in conjunction with the subjunctive mood.  Spanish 3 Honors is an intermediate/advanced level course that requires a full mastery of all topics introduced in Spanish 2 or Honors.  Review of these themes will be brief and students will begin to use new concepts almost immediately.  Students will apply their newly learned skills through reading short novels, writing narratives and participating in conversational activities as well as analyzing both written and spoken authentic target language materials.  Because it is impossible to understand a language isolated from its cultures, this class will engage in an in-depth exploration of current Hispanic events, culture, history and geography.  Student participation in Spanish is absolutely essential to success in this class, which will be conducted almost entirely in the target language.
