This year, Mr. Okamoto, Assistant Principal, and his team will introduce, “The Mustang Way” to our students. The program will involve students and staff in promoting, Respect – Responsibility – Integrity, as part of our focus on students’ academics, co-curricular programs and wellness. Watch for more information and student recognition activities as the year progresses.
As with every year, the district and site staff are very intentional and focused on providing strong academic and co-curricular programs, along with a renewed emphasis on student safety and wellness. With the support from our district, YLHS has a full time wellness counselor in addition to our three college-career counselors, a full time OC Sheriff school site resource officer and our campus supervisors. Facilities and Maintenance have installed cameras, new lighting, a visitors’ check-in station, as well as maintaining a clean and secure campus.
We hope to see many of our community members at the wide variety of athletic events, fine and performing arts programs and parent information nights.
