Principal's Message

Welcome to Yorba Linda High School, home of the Mustangs! Since opening in 2009, YLHS has built a reputation for academic excellence, strong community ties, and student engagement. As a California Distinguished School and a Gold Ribbon School, we have a 90% pass rate in Advanced Placement exams and rank among the top 10% of public high schools in Orange County.

Our mission is to have every student "Run with the STAMPEDE"—embracing Service, Teamwork, Achievement, Mastery, Passion, Ethics, Dedication, and Excellence. These values guide us in preparing students to demonstrate respect, responsibility, and integrity.

At YLHS, our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to student success both in and out of the classroom. We offer numerous opportunities for involvement in quality programs, including athletics, arts, and clubs. Here, every student can find their niche.

We eagerly anticipate a fantastic 2024-2025 school year as we continue to uphold our traditions and collaborate with parents and the community to support every student's academic, social, and emotional growth. We’re thrilled to have you as part of our Mustang family!
