Raising Responsible Kids, Free Parent Presentation

On Thursday, November 14th, we will hear from Jedd Hafer, a father of four, former comedian, and 20+ year veteran of working with kids in the foster care system. Mr. Hafer will present a 2 hour talk entitled, "Raising Responsible Kids" which will focus on the important topics of homework - when to step in to help and when to let kids work through it on their own, as well as technology - how to set limits with technology and what to do when technology has become a problem. Welcome to Yorba Linda High School – Home of the Mustangs!

Since opening our doors in 2009, Yorba Linda High School has earned a reputation for academic excellence, strong community partnerships, and exceptional student involvement. As a proud California Distinguished School and Gold Ribbon School, YLHS continues to rank among the top 10% of public high schools in Orange County, with an impressive 90% pass rate on Advanced Placement exams.

At the heart of YLHS is our mission to have every student Run with the STAMPEDE, living out the values of Service, Teamwork, Achievement, Mastery, Passion, Ethics, Dedication, and Excellence. These principles shape the character of our students and guide them to lead with respect, responsibility, and integrity.

Our passionate educators and staff are dedicated to ensuring all students thrive, both inside and outside the classroom.
