Big Thank You - To Jason, ASB, Club Advisors and coaches - for a great Pep Rally. The gym looked terrific and special thanks to our “sumo” wrestlers – Rich Cadra and Gabe Cueva, Diane Luxa and Theresa Maeder, and our faculty puzzle team – Jaclyn Chavez and Kory Kierulff.
Canned Food Drive - has started and will run through this week. ASB, along with the support of your 3rd period classes, will collect canned food for “2nd Harvest of Orange County.” Let’s all participate for this good cause.
Construction Workers - It looks like we have many more workers on campus for the next several weeks. Thank you for your patience and adjusting to changes at the last minute. We will be ready for the December 10th Dedication!!
YLHS School Site Council – held it’s 1st meeting on November 10th. Brent Hendry was elected Chair person and Jennifer Graves Vice-Chairperson, Secretary is Olivia White (student.) I want to thank Nadine Elwood for her help in leading us through our 1st School Site Council Meeting. Next meeting is scheduled for December 1st.
