“Deadline Destroyer” – Our YLHS yearbook staff, under the direction of Sarah Shay, just received the “Deadline Destroyer” award from Jostens Printing and Publishing for their work this year. Completing their work and meeting their deadlines assures us a timely delivery of the YLHS yearbook in June. Congratulations to Sarah and her class for their hard work and dedication in completing our very 1st YLHS yearbook!
A Big Thank You to Jason Kaylor and ASB – for our “1st” Winter Dance last Friday. Decorations were great, music was loud and students had fun with all the extra’s provided by ASB for this event. Great job, Jason and ASB!
Did you Notice Our School Marquee? – is up and running with new messages. Jason Kaylor and Diane Dunn are now trained to program our marquee with all the great activities and announcements for YLHS.
YLHS AP and Honors Parent Night Presentation – is Wednesday, January 20th, 7:00 p.m. in the Forum Theater. This evening presentation will let our community know what honors and AP classes we will offer, along with the expectations for success in each level and course.
Campus Tours - You may see one of us walking parents and students around campus each month. We have scheduled campus tours from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. on February 9, March 9, April 13 and May 11. Additional evening tours will be scheduled once we have changed back to daylight savings time.
