Welcome to Yorba Linda High School – Home of the Mustangs!

Since opening our doors in 2009, Yorba Linda High School has earned a reputation for academic excellence, strong community partnerships, and exceptional student involvement. As a proud California Distinguished School and Gold Ribbon School, YLHS continues to rank among the top 10% of public high schools in Orange County, with an impressive 90% pass rate on Advanced Placement exams.

At the heart of YLHS is our mission to have every student Run with the STAMPEDE, living out the values of Service, Teamwork, Achievement, Mastery, Passion, Ethics, Dedication, and Excellence. These principles shape the character of our students and guide them to lead with respect, responsibility, and integrity.

Our passionate educators and staff are dedicated to ensuring all students thrive, both inside and outside the classroom. Whether through rigorous academics, championship-level athletics, vibrant arts programs, or one of our many student-led clubs, every Mustang has the opportunity to discover their strengths and find a place to belong.

As we head into the 2025–2026 school year, we are excited to build on our strong foundation and continue working together with our families and community to support each student’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
