Principal's Weekly Update #24

Did you Hear? - Three YLHS students, Trisha Bell, Anastasia Ciano and Mica Munn, along with their teacher, Sarah Shay, attended the Chapman University Holocaust Writing and Art Awards program last Friday. Our three students, along with their families, were in the same room with 75 holocaust survivors to meet and talk with them
about their life experiences. The event is a memory for life. Thank you, Mrs. Shay, for inspiring our students to participate and attend this poignant event. You are making a difference!

Don’t Forget – The California High School Exit Exam is this Tuesday and Wednesday starting at 8:00 a.m. in our main gym. All 10th grade students will participate in the exam. Students should be finished around noon each day, if not sooner.

Emergency Drill - A Big Thank You to Jason for organizing our Emergency Drill last Friday. It is never easy to move 950 students to a safe area, if we ever needed to, but our plan is ready. Thank to all of you and your help with this drill.
