HELP PTSA WITH OUR FIRST CAREER DAY!

Yorba Linda High School will hold our first-ever Career Day for the entire student body the morning of Tuesday, November 8, 2011. We are looking for speakers from all walks of life, including firefighters, police, FBI, military, medicine, airlines, architecture, design, journalism, engineering, forensic science, law, television, film, arts, education, sales and many others. We are hoping to build a database of potential speakers from all fields to whom we can send a speaker packet so they might join us. We wish to extend the invitation to any and all members of our community interested in sharing information about their particular profession with our students.

Welcome to Yorba Linda High School – Home of the Mustangs!

Since opening our doors in 2009, Yorba Linda High School has earned a reputation for academic excellence, strong community partnerships, and exceptional student involvement. As a proud California Distinguished School and Gold Ribbon School, YLHS continues to rank among the top 10% of public high schools in Orange County, with an impressive 90% pass rate on Advanced Placement exams.

At the heart of YLHS is our mission to have every student Run with the STAMPEDE, living out the values of Service, Teamwork, Achievement, Mastery, Passion, Ethics, Dedication, and Excellence. These principles shape the character of our students and guide them to lead with respect, responsibility, and integrity.

Our passionate educators and staff are dedicated to ensuring all students thrive, both inside and outside the classroom. Whether through rigorous academics, championship-level athletics, vibrant arts programs, or one of our many student-led clubs, every Mustang has the opportunity to discover their strengths and find a place to belong.
