Did You Hear! – The Mustang Band and Guard 1st Annual Field Tournament was held last Wednesday in
Shapell Stadium. Eight local high schools participated, including Valencia, El Dorado and Esperanza. It was a terrific opportunity to hear and see some great performances!
Career Day 2012 – November 1st -The three sessions will start after break at 9:26. These 25 minute
sessions will provide our students the time to hear about 3 careers from approximately 50 local community members who will be on campus that day. Careers in the medical field, business, court system, along with police, fire and military will provide our students insight into a career area of their choice.
A Big Thank You to our YLHS PTSA, especially Evie Marshall – PTSA Career Day Coordinator, along with Shea Runge and Kelly Buchan for their time in helping coordinate our Career Day. Not only will our students hear first hand what their future may be, but 50 community members get to see YLHS and visit with our terrific staff and students. “Thank You one and ALL!!”
