CIF Women’s Water Polo Champions 2013! – Congratulations to Women’s Water Polo and Coach Jeff Gorman, his assistants and our great athletes for Yorba Linda’s 1st Women’s Athletic CIF Championship. On Saturday, the Mustangs beat Pacifica’s Sea Dogs 5 – 2 to win the Division 6 CIF title. It was a great game and victory for our Lady Mustangs.

The starred names qualified for the Masters Meet this past weekend. Our athletes did very well with Landon Myers qualifying for the State Championship this coming weekend!! Great job EVERYONE and good luck to Landon as he

Both teams and their coaches will be recognized and honored at the next PYLUSD School Board Meeting on March 12, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the District Board Room.

– Our Women’s Soccer team will compete in the CIF Semi-Finals tomorrow -Tuesday, against Bishop Ahmat in our stadium at 5:00 p.m. Great job Lady Mustangs and Good Luck Tuesday!

WASC – As we approach our March 17th visitation from WASC, a quick reminder for all staff members:
Goal #1 - Yorba Linda High School recognizes a need to increase achievement in written conventions and writing strategies for all students.
Goal #2 - Yorba Linda High School recognizes a need to close the achievement gap for all students who are not achieving proficiency in all curricular areas through a system of targeted interventions.
Goal #3 - Yorba Linda High School recognizes a need to increase academic achievement for students enrolled in lower level math courses such as Algebra 1A and 1B, and Algebra.
