Did you Here? - National Merit Scholarship Corp. announced the 2014 National Merit Scholarhsip Program qualifying students from YLHS. The following Mustangs are among the 50,000 highest scoring participants of over 1.5 million program entrants. These 12 students will move forward in the selection process to name National Merit Semi-finalists in the fall. Congratulations to:

2012-2013 Pathways to the Future - was a huge success last Wednesday evening. YLHS hosted the district wide event which filled our gym with parents and students from all of our schools. Parents had the opportunity to visit three of the 32 presentations ranging from UC Admissions to Military Academies and Career-Technical Education. Great job and thank you to the YLHS Counseling staff and Lorri Walls for coordinating this event.
Congratulations to YLHS Choir and Choir Director, Carol Duralde - The choir attended the SCVA Festival last Tuesday and represented YLHS with pride as they earned a Superior rating from both judges. (This is a festival where choir students are adjudicated on the CA Music Standards.) The choir students worked very hard for this rating and we are very proud of their accomplishment. Great job Mustangs!!
