Did you Hear? –
Counseling Office Student Survey of Seniors indicated
• 96% of our Seniors will attend a 2 – 4 year college
• 53% have chosen a four-year college – an increase of 10% from last year
Great Job Student Services!!

STAR Testing is boxed and mailed. We tested 98.5% of the 9th, 10th & 11th grade students. (1,295 out of 1,316).  Great job everyone and especially Joey and Terry for preparing the boxes and schedules.

The Register newspaper was on campus to interview our Seniors – the 1st four-year class to graduate from YLHS. Watch for several articles on YLHS and our Seniors in the upcoming weeks.

“Mustang” statue has arrived! The 2013 Senior Class has purchased a “full” standing metal Mustang horse as their class gift. It will be placed on a cement base in the center circle of the quad. All funds for the statue, base and maintenance have been donated by the Senior class. It will be installed soon!

Last Full Week for Seniors –
Thursday, June 6 – Last day of class for Seniors. Cap & gown pick up is at 2:00 in the lower quad area.
Friday, June 7 – Senior Trip to Disneyland
Monday, June 10 – Senior Breakfast – 9:00 a.m. @ Embassy Suites in Garden Grove
Tuesday, June 11 – 8:00 a.m. - Graduation Practice
6:00 p.m. - Graduation (Seniors report to gym at 5:00 p.m.)

Finals Schedule – is our for Tuesday, June 11 (full day), Wednesday, June 12 & Thursday, June 13 (minimum days) and Friday, June 14 (non-student day – last day for teachers!!)
