Mustang University - sponsored by our counseling Department and PTSA held College 101 Night last Wednesday evening. Over 200 parents and students attended the presentation in our Forum. The focus of the evening was to help freshmen, sophomores and juniors with the basics about applying to college and what they should be focusing on during their high school years. A Big Thank You to Nancy Coulter, Lorri Walls and Peyton Pike for setting up the presentation and answering questions, along with Kristen You, PTSA President, and the PTSA for sponsoring the event. This was one of the 9 Mustang University Nights that Student Services and our PTSA work on to get our parents and students “connected” to planning for the college experience.

YLHS Testing Schedule 2014 - Attached is our plan for administering the CAHSEE (10th), SBACF (9th) EAP Math/Language Arts (11th) and NCLB Science (10th). This does not include the AP exam schedule, which runs May 5 – 15.

A Big Thank You to the Leadership Team and especially Lorri Walls for working on this “moving target” to
minimize class disruptions while meeting the requirements for each exam we must administer.
