Principal's Weekly Update #162

Senior Awards 2014 - was terrific!!! Over 200 seniors were recognized for academics, department awards and scholarships. A Big Thank You to our presenters, Peyton Pike, Stacy Shube, Cathy Petz and Lloyd Walls. A Special Thank You to Peyton Pike for coordinating all the scholarship information and Bincins Garcia for Coordinating the 2014 Senior Awards location, program, certificate, medallions and music. Great job!!! And finally, CONGRATULATIONS to our Mustangs of the Year – Peyton Hutchison and Eric Chiang!!

Yorba Linda Jazz Jam - last Friday, May 23rd was a terrific evening of music performed by Travis Ranch Middle School, YLHS Jazz 2 and Jazz 1, with guest artist, Andy Martin on trombone. Thank you Bincins Garcia for an evening of “fine” music and for providing our students with the opportunity to perform with an outstanding professional musician.

Last Dance for 2013-2014 - MORP Dance is this Friday, May 30th from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. in the center quad. Yearbooks will also be handed out for students who sign up for the dance.
