Did You Hear? – Over 200 parents and students attended Mustang University – Senior College Night last Wednesday evening in the Forum. A Big Thank You to our Counseling staff and PTSA for presenting this very important topic.
College Fair – This Friday - in the Gym - We are again fortunate to host the Yorba Linda High School
College Fair this Friday, October 17th. Approximately 55 colleges from across the nation, the UK and Canada will be in attendance, including both public and private out-of-state universities, International colleges and a large number of W.U.E. institutions. This is an important opportunity that our junior and senior students don’t want to miss!
Great Shake Out – Thursday – October 16 – Greg Kemp has been working with staff to update procedures and evacuation maps for the 2014-15 school year. Watch for additional information as we plan for this all important evacuation drill.
Did you See? - Travis Ranch Middle School Band and Color Guard were guests of our YLHS band and guard at last week’s football game. Over 100 middle school students were treated to a pre-game pizza party and then watch the Mustang football game and half-time field show. This was a great activity to connect incoming students to YLHS.
