Principal's Weekly Update #194

A BIG THANK YOU! To our YLHS PTSA - for the terrific Teacher/Staff Appreciation Luncheon on Thursday. A Special thank you to Regina Bernabe and Melinda Shank for the great decorations, food and good times. Fun! Fun! Fun!

Congratulations to Stacy Shube - for receiving the YLHS 2015 Yearbook Dedication. Mrs. Shube helped establish our Language Arts program at YLHS in 2009 as a teacher and Department Chair. She started and continues to be our Cheer and Song Advisor, along with heading up our schoolwide “Step Up to Writing” program. Mrs. Shube is a dedicated, caring teacher and this recognition is well deserved! Congratulations Stacy!!

Did You Hear? - YLHS Red Cross Club Blood Drive on April 23rd collected 69 pints of lifesaving blood. The American Red Cross wants to express its deepest appreciation to all of you for your support of the American Red Cross Blood Drive. A “Special Thanks to Mrs. Farrell and Mrs. Runge for all their support,” from Rebecca O’Rourke of the Red Cross. Great job, Mustangs!!
