Did You Hear? - PYLUSD was awarded $6 million by the California Career Pathway Trust Grant for the North Orange County Career Access Partnership. This grant will be used to strengthen articulation with local Community Colleges and expand career pathway opportunities at all of our high schools. Money from the grant has been allocated for YLHS to facilitate the overall focus in the “Mustang Business Academy”, incorporating Culinary Arts and Hospitality/Hotel Management under the umbrella of MBA – Mustang Business Academy with classes in Business Fundamentals and Accounting. Additional support for our Academy will be provided with staff training, technology, instructional supplies, clerical support and a two period CTE Academy Career Specialist. Site team members and district staff will be working together over the summer to plan the 2015-16 school year with new opportunities for our students.
