Congratulations to Cathy Petz and her most dedicated Theatre Arts students – who have earned induction into the International Thespian Society (ITS), the honor society of secondary school theatre students. The Thespians on the list were active members of Yorba Linda High School, Troupe 7766 in the 2014-2015 school year and earned International Thespian Society Honors. Degrees of recognition include:

Thespian (100+ hours of quality work in theatre arts and related disciplines)
Honor Thespian (600+ hours)
National Honor Thespian (1,200+ hours)
International Honor Thespian (1,800+ hours)
Scholar (3.0 GPA or above)

PTSA Reflections Entry Forms - are now available in the office, library and from the teachers in Dance, Film Production, Language Arts, Music, Photography and Visual Arts. This year’s theme is, “Let Your Imagination Fly”. Encourage your students to participate by reflecting on the theme and creating an original work and be recognized in class and community for their creativity and hard work. Entries are due by October 16th in the office/PTSA box.

Mustang University 2015-16 - sponsored by YLHS PTSA and our Counseling Department will present – Senior College Night , Wednesday, October 7th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the forum theater. Topics for discussion are:
