Meet Mrs. Heim, YLHS Wellness Specialist

I am honored to be a part of the faculty and staff here at Yorba Linda High School as your Wellness Specialist! I look forward to the opportunity to provide all the support I can here on campus. Let me tell you a little bit about myself...

I was born and raised here in Orange County and attended Sonora High School and Fullerton College before transferring to CSULB to obtain my BA in Human Development and then my MS in Educational Psychology, with Marriage and Family Therapy option. I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2004 and I am fortunate to have spent my career working with community organizations, school-based services, and crisis youth shelters to help build up Orange County youth and their families.

Wellness services may include providing mental health services in individual, family or group counseling, as well as crisis interventions. If you would like to access Wellness Counseling, please contact your Guidance Counselor first to receive a referral.
