PTSA Student Scholarship
Criteria:
Each applicant is required to be a graduating senior and a current member of the YLHS PTSA as of December 31st of the current school year. Applicants must have at least a 2.0 unweighted cumulative GPA and have volunteered in PTSA-sponsored activities, the school, and/or the community. Overall participation in PTSA events weighs heavily in scholarship consideration. Scholarship money is to be used toward higher education costs.
Application:
● All parts of the application must be completed.
● Submit one letter of recommendation from a YLHS faculty member.
● Students must obtain a counselor's signature for the unweighted cumulative GPA.
● Students must attach a copy of the current year's PTSA card or proof of membership on an 8.5”x11” sheet of paper.
Selection Process:
Applications are due by Friday, TBD, by 3:15 pm to the Counseling office, in an envelope addressed to PTSA Scholarship Chair: Jennifer Hendrie and Kelly Saint-Onge
Upon proof of college acceptance and/or enrollment, a check for the scholarship will be sent to the recipient at the address on the application. Details will be given in the notification letter presented at Senior Awards Night TBA.
