AP/Honors Information

Below are the criteria charts for each grade level of Honors and Advanced Placement classes offered at YLHS. Also, you will find attached the Honors/AP Agreement that is required to be signed by both parent and student who is requesting the higher level classes.
Honors and Advanced Placement courses are designed for students who desire an in-depth challenging course of study.  Advanced Placement Information Night for parents and students is on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. This information night reviews courses offered, course descriptions, and placement criteria. (Students taking Honors do not attend this meeting)

If you are trying to decide which AP classes to take next year, check out the results of the 2018 AP course survey to find out more information about the AP courses offered at YLHS. Respondents were current students taking these classes during the 2017-18 school year. Your strengths and interests may vary.
