Community Service Opportunity-
The Yorba Linda Public Library is excited to provide positive and fun community service opportunities this summer in the Children’s Services Department. Due to limited programming, volunteer opportunities will be open to students in or entering HIGH SCHOOL.
Yorba Linda residents may apply ONLINE beginning Saturday, May 7th. Non-Yorba Linda residents may apply ONLINE beginning Saturday, May 14th. Online applications will be accepted until positions are filled or through May 21st at 4 p.m. (whichever comes first); therefore, we encourage those interested to apply early.
A Yorba Linda Library Card in the student’s name is required to apply for a volunteer position. If the student does not have a library card, we encourage them to obtain one as soon as possible by filling out the Online Library Card Application. The library card can be picked up by presenting a picture ID and proof of current address in the library lobby.
Volunteer information, including the application, will be available on the Library’s website at https://www.ylpl.org/volunteers.
As a side note, we also offer a school year volunteer program. Applications are available mid-August and run through the school year until positions are filled.
